Better Anime Than Death Note. Death note is on upper spectrum of anime quality and would have a solid 6/10 or 7/10 rating, but in all honesty, there are a lot of titles that are just as good or better (although they often deal with other genres). The simple answer is no.

My recommendations are elfen lied, code gease, and claymore. By watching these two anime, you get the feeling that the mangakas really are geniuses, having the ability to come up with such ideas. As i already said, death note is a great starter too, and to some people it’s better than tpn.

This was another tough decision, since the dub cast of death note gave a stellar performance, coming close to the quality of the dub.
